National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
NDIS funds speech therapy for people with a disability that affects communication, speech, or swallowing. NDIS funding can cover assessments, therapy sessions, assistive communication devices, and parent training, tailored to the individual need

Medicare
Medicare provides funding for speech therapy; To be eligible, individuals must referred by a GP or specialist. Medicare rebates cover up to five speech therapy sessions per calendar year, with a partial rebate per session.
